It consists of three core components: the Edge Server, which handles high-speed data queries and API calls; Agent Services, which orchestrate AI-driven workflows; and the Coordinator, which manages authentication, user profiles, and workspace operations. This architecture separates compute responsibilities to maintain speed and reliability under heavy load.

The Datafi Semantic Data Layer bridges the gap between business language and raw data, reducing hallucinations and improving AI accuracy. It maps natural language to data logic using PRQL, the Prompt Library, and enriched metadata. During onboarding, this layer aligns user intent with data structure—crucial when business terms don’t match the data structure.  
Combined with the Datafi Query Language and your choice of LLMs, SLMs, or ontologies, it powers a natural, conversational interface for querying data by voice or text.
